UNDER WATER WELDING AND CUTTING
The training proceed through the following stages rules of welding and practice Under water welding rules and practice Wet welding in diving in salvage tank instead of limit depth Wet welding with diving equipment Details of the syllabus will provided the student during the training session

COURSE DURATION: 18 WEEKS

Eligibilty:
  • 10th standard pass from government recognized board with subject’s English, Mathematics & Science.
  • Eye sight: distance vision 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in other eye and normal color vision shall be tested by Ishihara test chart.
  • Medical Fitness Certificate from a Doctor Approved by DGS (Original + one photocopy)
Age: Age: 17 ½ years and not over 30 years on the date of commencement of training.

Admission Procedure:
In response to the advertisement placed by NMTC in the Newspapers/Magazines Candidates may apply directly without/with Company Sponsorship. All candidates are required to fill up the application form and submit it together with copies of their 10th standard mark sheet and School Leaving Certificate. NMTC staff will scrutinize the applications and will inform the candidate the date on which he is required to appear for an Entrance Test followed by an interview. Successful candidates would be advised about the joining formalities.

Location & Duration Of Course:
This is a residential course held at NMTC`S AGRA campus and is of 18 weeks duration. 3 batches are held per year in MAY, SEP and JAN. The admission forms will be accepted 10 Days before commencement of the courses. Candidates are accommodated in a dormitory with cabins on sharing basis. Trainees are required to stay in the campus throughout the period of training. Meal timings are displayed on the Commercial under water Department notice board and must be strictly adhered.
